Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
¾ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. baking soda
Dash ground allspice
1 egg
¾ cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup canned pumpkin
2/3 cup milk
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
*In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Set aside.
*Combine the egg, brown sugar, pumpkin, milk, butter and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
*Stir in chocolate chips.
*Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups ¾ full.
*Bake at 375* F for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
*Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan to a wire rack

Serves: 1 dozen
