Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can Italian style diced tomatoes
1/2 cup white wine
3 tablespoons fresh parsley
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 (8 ounce) package angel hair pasta
Directions
*In a medium skillet over medium high heat, melt butter with the oil.
*Add the shrimp and garlic.
*Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally until shrimp are done.
*Remove shrimp to a plate and cover to keep warm.
*Add remaining ingredients to skillet except for 1/4 c of Parmesan cheese and the pasta.
*Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally as sauce thickens.
*Cook pasta and drain.
*Toss shrimp and pasta into the skillet with sauce and distribute everything evenly.
*Serve topped with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
