Ziploc Baggie Ice Cream

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 cup Half and Half
1/4 cup Sugar
1/4 tsp. Vanilla
1/2-3/4 cup Salt (rock or table)
2 cups ice
1 quart size ziploc bag
1 gallon ziploc bag

Directions:
*Add sugar, milk, half and half, and vanilla into quart size ziploc bag. Zip closed.
*Put ice and salt into gallon size ziploc bag.
*Place sealed quart size bag into gallon bag. Zip gallon bag.
*Gently rock gallon bag from side to side making sure that cream mixture bag is surrounded by ice/salt.
*Continue for 10-15 minutes or until contents of quart bag have solidified into ice cream.
*Take quart bag out of gallon bag.
*Scoop ice cream into a bowl or eat from the baggie for easy clean up!

*Personal Notes: This way of making ice cream is great for kids. They love to help shake the the bag. It seems like magic since the cream mixture turns into ice cream right in front of them!

*You can add flavors to the mixture if you want. Or enjoy it as plain vanilla ice cream.
